Sali grew up riding horses in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Summers were spent around the country as a working student for different trainers. She progressed through the ranks of the U.S. Pony Club attaining her 'A' rating. Her riding took a hiatus when she joined the Navy out of college, but she always managed to pick up a prospect at her various duty stations only to sell when she couldn't convince the government it was a legitimate "household good" for the next military assignment. As a National Examiner for the U.S. Pony Club she travels to conduct clinics and testings around the country. Besides her horses she is mom to three wonderful sons.
