Welcome To Calypso Run Farm
Calypso Run Farm is a small training and lesson facility in the heart of Virginia Beach. We provide a low-key professional environment for horse lovers of all ages. Our lesson program is geared to the very young, as well as to the more “mature” rider. Whether a casual or serious equestrian, the common thread is a love and appreciation for the horse. Throughout the year, we offer riding clinics and sessions for all levels and ages, including our popular summer horsemanship camps.

Calypso Run Farm
Located on 15 acres in a little known area in the heart of Virginia Beach, we have three riding rings that include a stadium jumping course, regulation dressage arena, and a sand arena. Riding rings are lighted for night riding. Additionally there is a cross country course ideal for training the horse and rider with fences for Beginner Novice to the Preliminary level. Cross country schooling is available by appointment or on pre-scheduled days..
The barn consists of six 12 x 12 matted stalls, wash racks, feed room and tack room. A separate kitchen and bathroom are available for guests. Two separate outdoor decks offer seating and a picnic area, as well as a great place to watch the riding.
Split rail fencing divides pasture and paddocks and affords plenty of safe turn out. Five wooded acres with cleared trails offer a break from the arenas and are perfect for a leisurely trail ride. Additionally adjoining acreage is deeded for horse traffic and gives the trail rider lots of options for longer rides.
